How to Run an Application Before or After a Backup Session 
  

  1. Go to Tools>Manage Backup Sets Wizard.

  2. Select the appropriate Backup Set from the list.

  3. Choose Modify.

  4. Navigate through the Wizard until you see the Special Items panel.

  5. Press the Specify Applications button.

  6. To run an application before a backup session runs, enter the name of the program to run in the Before Backup box.

  7. To run an application after a backup session runs, enter the name of the program to run in the After Backup box.

  8. Press OK.

  9. Continue navigating through the Wizard and press Finish to save your changes.
